We ask that our guests park in our driveway. There is ample driveway space for up to 6 normal-sized cars. Additionally, there are 2 parking spaces adjacent to the main road and in front of the house (one on either side of the driveway).
You will use a code to enter the house via the front door. This will be your code for the duration of your stay. We ask that all guests enter or leave the property only by the front door.
Self check-in is done through a smart lock upon arrival, but we are just a message away if any issues arise. We typically check in through message to make sure everything is going smoothly, but otherwise we leave all other interaction up to you!
WATER:
Our house is located on a well, providing guests with a rare and authentic experience. While the well contributes to the natural beauty and self-sustainability of our location, we want to transparently share that guests may occasionally encounter a faint sulfuric smell from the water and a slight tint due to its mineral-rich nature. Rest assured, this is a common characteristic of well water and is completely harmless. We have taken every measure to ensure the water is safe and clean for your use, and the occasional natural scent is a testament to the purity of our water source.
BUGS:
The area in which our property is located is very grassy and contains a fair amount of trees. As a result, bugs are fairly commonplace both in and out of the house, especially in the spring and summertime. We do utilize a pest control service that helps with pest mitigation, but given the area in which we live, it just isn’t fully possible to rid our house of all bugs. The best defense against these bugs is to keep all doors closed as much as possible. We do apologize in advance though if you come across any bugs while staying at our place.
