Our house is cozy but serves as a wonderful place for small and large families, including our furry friends (we are pet-friendly!). There is sufficient space in the house for up to 12 guests, as there are 4 bedrooms (2 with queen beds, 1 with 2 twin beds (one trundle), and 1 with a lofted twin and a floor mattress), 1 pullout couch with a full bed, and a sectional with enough space to sleep 2 adults. There are also 2 full bathrooms upstairs, including the master bedroom ensuite.
The backyard is fully fenced and is the perfect size for your kids or pets to run around, kick a soccer ball (1 soccer net included!), grill, or roast marshmallows by the fire pit. Enjoy our patio string lights as well on a nice summer or fall evening!

You will have access to the whole house, except the basement and detached garage. Both of these will be locked for our personal storage.
Self check-in is done through a smart lock upon arrival, but we are just a message away if any issues arise. We typically check in through message to make sure everything is going smoothly, but otherwise we leave all other interaction up to you!
Our home is nestled in a friendly and quaint Evanston neighborhood, just four blocks north of Chicago. We are exactly a mile from Lake Michigan and nearly as close to shops/restaurants in Evanston. There are at least 10 parks/playgrounds within walking distance of the house. We are a 12 minute walk to the CTA “el” line that takes you either into Chicago or Downtown Evanston. We are also a 1/2 block from a CTA bus station. We love Evanston because you can bike anywhere, there are excellent restaurants, and we have easy access to Chicago (just a 25 minute drive to the city center but less than 5 minutes to Rogers Park). We are just 4 blocks from the drug store and other shops for essentials. Last but not least, we’re less than 2 miles from several beaches, including Rogers Beach, Juneway Beach, Howard Beach, and South Boulevard Beach.
Your stay at our house comes with 2 parking spots, both of which are accessible through a back alley. Additional guests/cars can park for free on any of the nearby neighborhood side streets, although there are certain restrictions depending on the day of the week and time of the year.
