We ask that our guests park in our driveway. There is ample space for 4 normal-sized cars. Free street parking is available but prohibited after 2 inches of snowfall. Any parking on the grass is also strictly prohibited at all times.
You will use a code to enter the house via the front door. This will be your code for the duration of your stay. We ask that all guests enter or leave the property only by the front door.
Self check-in is done through a smart lock upon arrival, but we are just a message away if any issues arise. We typically check in through message to make sure everything is going smoothly, but otherwise we leave all other interaction up to you!

Bugs:
The area in which our house is located is very close to several parks, a couple small bodies of water, and a forest preserve, not to mention that we are in a residential neighborhood. As a result, bugs are fairly commonplace both in and out of the house, especially in the spring and summertime. We do utilize a pest control service that helps with pest mitigation, but given the area in which we live, it just isn’t fully possible to rid our house of all bugs. The best defense against these bugs is to keep all doors & windows closed as much as possible. We do apologize in advance though if you come across any bugs while staying at our place.
Garbage & Recycling Collection:
Our weekly garbage & recycling collection occurs early on Thursday mornings. If you happen to be staying with us on a non-holiday Wednesday night, we would ask you to please wheel both cans out to the curb for the early morning collection. We find that this is the best way to make sure that our garbage & recycling are picked up weekly.
